FITB-OEO800-10G Board Overview
FITB-OEO800-10G is an optical fiber link wavelength conve er (fiber amplifier). It regenerates optical signals in the principle of optical-electrical-optical to realize the amplification and wavelength conversion of optical signals. Wavelength division multiplexing can be realized by using C/DWDM multiplexer/de-multiplexer, which especially applies to optical transpo systems such as 125M/155M/622M/1G/2G5/s SDH/SONET, Ethernet etc. It provides rapid and cost-efficient solutions to regeneration of optical signals as well as transmission of rare fiber resources.

Valid Slots in the Sub-racks
a. In the OEO802 chassis, valid slots of the board are SLOT1 and SLOT2.
b. In the FITB-OEO800-I chassis, valid slots of the board are SLOT2 to SLOT4.
c. In the FITB-OEO800-II chassis, valid slots of the board are SLOT2 to SLOT8.
d. In the FITB-OEO800-V chassis, valid slots of the board are SLOT1 to SLOT15.
Application
The FITB-OEO800-10G board is mainly used to access four channels of signals at 10Gbit/s, and conve the signals into DWDM standard wavelength compliant with ITU-T G.694.1. Moreover, the conversion in the reverse direction can be achieved. The optical po s on the WDM side provide the dual fed and selective receiving function.
